Abstract The aim of the present study is to explore the relation among school victimisation and school violence, taking into account the motivations of revenge, avoidance, and benevolence. The sample includes 671 adolescents of both sexes, between 10 and 16 years old, attending primary and secondary school. The structural equation model, calculated with EQS software, show that victimisation is directly and indirectly related to school violence through revenge motivation. Victimisation is also related to avoidance and benevolence motivations, although these are not associated with school violence. Projecte d'investigació-acció: Violència escolar i integració social

En aquest treball es presenta el Projecte d'Investigació-Acció realitzat pel grup Lisis de la Universitat de València. Des del model ecològic, l'interès està a analitzar i prevenir la conducta violenta entre iguals a l'escola. Per a això s'ha aplicat en una mostra de 1319 adolescents d'edats compreses entre els 11 i els 16 anys una bateria d'instruments. En aquest article s'exposa, a tall d'exemple, un dels models d'equacions estructurals calculats en aquesta investigació. En concret s'analitza l'efecte directe i l'indirecte del clima familiar en la conducta violenta entre iguals i en el context escolar.
De la violència escolar a la convivència pacífica: elements clau en la intervenció

En aquest treball, per començar, s'hi defi neix la violència escolar i s'hi indica la seua incidència. A continuació, s'hi analitzen els principals factors escolars que poden afavorir les conductes violentes en el context escolar, i en els quals es pot intervenir per millorar les relacions entre alumnes i el clima de convivència escolar. Bullying is a high-prevalence problem in the classrooms of our schools. Young people with functional diversity constitute a particularly vulnerable population when they are involved in such situations. This study analyses the harassment experiences of five young people with functional diversity. To this end, five semi-structured interviews and a focus group were conducted. Participants reported having experienced verbal, physical, social and sexual harassment. The treatment of these situations by educational institutions was ineffective and the solution adopted in all cases was a change in the type of schooling. El objetivo principal del estudio es analizar las diferencias entre estudiantes involucrados en situaciones de cyberbullying (no implicados, ocasionales y severos) en su actitud hacia la autoridad institucional y conducta violenta escolar directa y relacional, teniendo en cuenta la interacción con el sexo. La muestra está formada por 1062 estudiantes de educación secundaria entre 12 y 18 años de ambos sexos. Los resultados del análisis multivariado no muestran interacciones, pero sí efectos principales de las variables grupo y sexo. AbstractViolence at school is considered to be an important issue in Spain, despite the fact that the majority of secondary education students reject it. Over the last decade awareness has been raised with regard to this problem. In this study we aim to analyze the perception of school violence held by two very different groups of secondary education students. School violence is a serious social and public health problem prevalent worldwide. Although the relevance of teacher and classroom factors is well established in the literature, few studies have focused on the role of teacher perceptions in school violence and victimisation and the potential mediational role of classroom climate in this relationship.
